Can you recognize hypertension by its symptoms?

Hypertension is one of the most common health problems in developed countries. It is also one of the most mysterious. In fact, he is often called the silent killer for his ability to strike people dead (in the most extreme cases) without showing any previous symptoms at all. But more often, people suffering from high blood pressure have subtle symptoms of it but they often take as something not serious. For this reason, they may fail to see a doctor who allegedly was easily diagnosed the condition with the most basic balance.

It is therefore a good idea to pay attention to the signs of high blood pressure and to take seriously. But how does one determine that they indeed suffer from hypertension? What are the symptoms to monitor?

1 Headache

Headaches may be an indication of high blood pressure, but because they can also be due to many other things such as stress or anxiety many people do take seriously, even if sometimes, headaches become extremely painful.

Most of the warning signs of high blood pressure, such as headaches, can be easily related to the condition: think of old ads of headaches on television showing a head between a vice... This high blood pressure!

2 Fatigue, dizziness or confusion

How hypertension can cause these symptoms? Yet again, think of Physiology. If lift you quickly and your blood vessels are restricted (a common feature of high blood pressure) you will not enough blood to your brain, hence the Vertigo. Confusion has related causes.

3 Scrambled

A related symptom, which may often give you an earlier indication that blurred the vision is the sensitivity or tenderness of the eyes to the touch. This occurs because high blood pressure also increases the pressure in the eye. This can make it sensitive to the touch and, at a later stage, slight distortion of the eye due to the pressure can actually affect your vision.

4. The noise or buzzing in the ears

This is caused by the internal pressure in the ears in the same way as that which causes vision problems.

5 Bleeding nose or chest pain

The final symptoms are obvious and alarming. You should consider their advance of warning sign that your blood pressure may be elevated to seriously. Consult a doctor without delay.

All these symptoms may have many different causes, not only hypertension and many of them are harmless, but it's always better to do prevent than cure. This is especially true if you start to notice more than one or two. The symptoms you have the highest picture begins to emerge.

Even if you have only a vague symptom or an internal suspicion that you may have a high blood pressure it is logical to obtain at least to a pharmacy to have your blood pressure checked. And don't forget that it is true that most of the cases of hypertension show no symptoms at all the. This is another reason for regular health check-ups. If treated hypertension can lead to other more serious health problems and even sudden death in extreme cases.
