The amazing Blueberry!  These amazing little fruits called blueberries are one of the most potent sources of antioxidants.  One of the gems that nature has so bountifully provided to keep our bodies healthy.  We already know the benefits of antioxidants in our body and its ability to rid us of those pesky free radicals that threathen our health.  As an antioxidant powerhouse, this little fruit continues to make headlines around the world.

Especially in wild species, Blueberries contain compounds known as anthocyanins, which are a type of flavonoid which can be found in dark chocolate, tea and red wine.  The antioxidants in Blueberries are also linked to having a role in the reduction of some disease including inflamation and some cancers.

Now, did we really need this research to tell us that eating the food that nature has provided is the best remedy for good health?  Life as we know it has become so hectic that we neglect to feed our bodies the type of food that will keep our bodies performing at its best.  We are only as healthy as what we put into our bodies and we have to decided that we will make the changes necessary to restore our bodies to perfect health.
